Kevin DeNuccio - Byogy Chairman, CEO and Member of the BOD of Metaswitch Networks based in London, England: Mr. DeNuccio, former President and CEO of Redback for 6 years led one of the major turnarounds, financial restructuring, and renewed growth from the telecom meltdown of 2000. Redback Networks was sold to LM Ericsson in January 2007 for $2.1B approximately 10x revenues. Prior to leading Redback Networks, he was the Sr. VP at Cisco Systems; and, Founder, President and CEO of Bell Atlantic Network Integration, Inc.,(now Verizon Communications), he was responsible for all corporate strategy and operations. He has also held senior management positions at both Unisys Corporation and Wang Laboratories network integration and worldwide channel partner businesses. Kevin has served on several public and private companies: Redback Networks sold to LM Ericsson, JDSU Inc., KPMG consulting (BearingPoint), Netpliance (TippingPoint) sold to 3Com, Salesnet sold to RightNow Technologies, and, is also a member of the BOD of SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq); and, the organization of the Catholic Church. Kevin DeNuccio received his finance degree from Northeastern University and is a graduate of the MBA program at Columbia University. He is happily married with 5 children living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Dr. Dennis Spriggs – Byogy Director & Chief Technology Officer: Dr. Spriggs has over forty years of experience in the process and related industries and is widely recognized for the application of technology to solve complex business problems. He has held industrial positions in production, research and development, engineering and business development. He has successfully operated his own company since 1985 and previously served as Director of the Central Engineering for Union Carbide Corporation. Dr. Spriggs has been involved with successful innovation and accomplishment throughout his career. He has extensive management and business development experience in technically complex industries aimed at strategy development and implementation and is recognized internationally for the development and application of integrated process design methods and tools. Dr. Spriggs holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University Institute of Technology and both MS and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
Simon Williams, Byogy Director and Sr. VP at Metaswitch Networks: Most recently the CTO of Ericsson’s IP and Broadband Division, Simon brings to Metaswitch a wealth of senior level experience in areas ranging from sales management to product strategy. Prior to Ericsson, Simon held various high-level positions at Redback Networks, including Senior Vice President of Products, Marketing and Strategy. Previously, as Redback’s Vice President of Asia-Pacific Sales and Operations, Simon was instrumental in growing Redback’s presence and revenue in that region. Before Redback Networks he held the title of Director of Product Management at Siara Systems. He has also performed various Marketing, Sales and Development Engineering roles for Nortel Networks and Bell Northern Research, with specific responsibility for Nortel’s Optical and Data products and solutions. Simon holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario Canada.
Chuck Erickson, PE - Byogy Director: An executive, business consultant, advisor, CEO, President, and, Board Member, Chuck’s experience of twenty-five years as a coach and mentor specializing in assisting Environmental and Technology start-ups in International markets entry for foreign technology companies in an award winning Cluster served startup companies in the software and Internet markets and was voted Incubator of The Year by the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) in the year 2001. Chuck has advised over 75 companies in successful market entry, raised over $550 Million USD in growth capital, and developed a very effective program to assist foreign companies in their quest to open channels of business in the United States; he assisted over 45 international companies with market entry each year and raised US investment capital - $160 Million in 2008; consulted to many foreign governments on effective programs (working with agencies from Singapore, China, Japan, Finland, Estonia, Spain, India, Columbia, Costa Rica, Panama). |
