Standing behind Byogy is a veteran management team with over 120 years of international award winning experience, vision and leadership in the agricultural, waste, energy, water, land, legal and environmental management industries.

The senior management team is made up of professionals who have extensive experience in high-growth public and private companies involving diverse yet related fields. The following are the key members of Byogy's management:

 

Kevin R. Weiss, PE, PLS : Chief Executive Officer, President

Kevin R. Weiss, PE, PLS – Chief Executive Officer, President: Kevin Weiss serves as CEO with 25 years of driving operational excellence, financial discipline and exponential revenue growth. Kevin has a proven track record in building client relations throughout California and brings passion, drive and business acumen, as well as a keen understanding of the critical role that drives various business models that makes him a perfect fit that gears up Byogy Renewables, Inc. for aggressive market expansion.

Formerly CEO, of JMH Weiss Inc., a successful civil engineering and land planning firm founded in 1956 in San Jose, California. He has worked on over 4,000 design projects for both public and private sectors. The firm plans, and processes large scale projects through entitlement and master planning.

Kevin's knowledge of real estate/environmental processing has enhanced his abilities to be at the forefront of Sustainable/Green development and planning and provides seminar discussions for local government and consultant environmental agencies. He holds BS degrees in both Civil Engineering and Physics from the Penn State University.

 

Daniel L. Rudnick - Executive Vice President, Co-Founder: Daniel Rudnick, is a co-founder of Byogy with 25 years of broad experience as a trial lawyer and business owner in the farming, ranching and cattle feed yard markets in California, including a background in the wind-power and bio-energy business. He has practiced business law and civil litigation from 1983 to-date.

Daniel has served as general counsel from 2000 to 2006 for a large pharmaceutical distribution company involved in the animal health products industry. In the fall of 2004, Daniel acquire an ownership interest in Sundance Feed Yard, Inc., a 30,000 head cattle feeding operation near Bakersfield, California with an ownership interest in Sundance Feed Yard, Inc.

Daniel received a B.S. in Agricultural Business Management in 1979 from the California Polytechnic Institute of San Luis Obispo, and a J.D. of Law from the California Western School of Law in 1983. He did post-doctorate work in 1983 while attending the McGeorge School of Law program in International Business Transactions and Tax in Europe.

 

Dr. Dennis Spriggs – Chief Technology Officer, Executive Strategist: Dr. Spriggs is a chemical engineer with over forty years of experience in the process and related industries and is widely recognized for the application of technology to solve complex business problems. He has held industrial positions in production, research and development, engineering and business development. He has successfully operated his own company since 1985 and previously served as the Director of Central Engineering for the Union Carbide Corporation.

 

Craig S. Malina - Executive Vice President, Business, Corporate Counsel, represents business and legal interests of companies, investors, and entrepreneurs since 1995 supporting intellectual property, licensing, and commercial needs of his clients and specializing in representing new media and technology ventures and working with entrepreneurs and emerging companies to accelerate and manage business growth.

Craig worked for top firms in New York and Silicon Valley as a corporate transactional attorney leading complex high value transactions including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and venture financings for a wide variety of companies: management of global media company The News Corporation, Fox Sports joint venture, acquisitions of TV station groups and satellite businesses, and the $2.8 billion IPO of the Fox Entertainment Group.

Craig has served as a strategic consultant for several media and Internet ventures supporting management teams with positioning and launching new businesses, building executive teams, fundraising, and business development. Craig is a co-founder of iV3 Media, a social venture creating and distributing interactive media educational products and programming across multiple platforms. At iV3, Craig developed new media programs involving TV, broadband programming, and web-DVD products, built strategic relationships with corporations, government, and nonprofits, and was responsible for company strategy and managing day-to-day business and legal affairs.

 

Fernando Corrêa - Vice President & Brasil Manager: Formerly, Co-founder and Managing Partner, Nusa Internet Publica, a Kiosk founded in 2004 implemented for worldwide internet payment processing throughout Brasil and operates 2,000 public internet terminals in 14 cities.

Prior to Nusa Internet Publica, Fernando was CFO of OptilGlobe do Brasil, Ltd. Optiglobe was responsible for building and operating two of the largest data centers in Brazil, Sao Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. $140 million dollars were invested in 3 years; Director for Proman Electronica Ltda., one of the largest telecom companies in Brazil. Its core business is engineering and project management for cellular and telephone companies. Has joint ventures and partnerships with major equipment makers such as Lucent, Nortel, Nokia, etc.; and, Sr. Associate at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, New York where he instrumentally helped management and technology consulting combining domain expertise in defense, intelligence, and civilian government with strong capabilities in strategy, and organization, analytics, technology and operations.

Fernando has an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, The University of Pennsylvania; Masters in Economics, University of Paris; Law School at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do RGS – Porto Alegre, RS and received his Bachelor Degree in Economics at Universidade Federal do RGS – Porto Alegre, RS

 

Eva Leilani Cabico – Executive Operations: Two decades of operations experience, Eva oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm, including planning and business functions, in addition to general responsibility for financial planning and controls, personnel administration business and client development, systems and physical facilities. In collaboration with the executive staff she identifies and plans for the changing needs of the organization, management and marketing.

Eva has held posts in the Silicon Valley in various sectors including high tech, software, hardware, venture capital and biotechnology at such leading entities as Cisco Systems, Redback Networks and Genentech. She was also instrumental in launching through IPO, Hana Biosciences in South San Francisco.
